Blog Button Tutorial
Tutorial for adding Ravelry blog button to Blogger/Blogspot.
These directions are assuming you ALREADY have the necessary code for you button. If you need your button personalized and coded, let me know. (Contact link is below the tutorial)
1. Sign in and view the main page of your blog.Click the link to "Customize" your blog. (Link will be found at top right of your page.) [fig. 1]
2. Click "Add a Gadget" (A pop-up window will appear) [fig. 2]
3. Scroll through the list until you find "HTML/Javascript". Click the plus symbol. [fig. 3]
4. The pop-up window will change to a screen where you will paste in the code. [fig. 4] A title is NOT necessary, and I would recommend NOT using a title, simply for better looks. Once code has been pasted into the box, be sure to click "Save".
5. New "Gadget" now shows after pop-up closes (automatically) when you save. [fig. 5]
6. You can now move the "Gadget" to anywhere along the sidebar. Be sure to SAVE your changes! [fig. 6]
7. View your main page, and your button should show up.
